AGNIESZKA ZOLICH | Oslo, Gestalt Therapist in Training (Final Year), Norsk Gestaltinstitutt
I'm in my fourth and final year of training at the Norsk Gestaltinstitutt (NGI), an institution accredited by both the EAGT (European Association for Gestalt Therapy) and the EAP (European Association for Psychotherapy). I work under supervision to ensure professionalism and the safety of the therapeutic process.
I believe that personal growth is at the heart of this profession. My practice is shaped by continuous self-development, my own personal therapy, and a deepening of knowledge in areas like neuroscience, mindfulness practices and contemplative spirituality. This allows me to enrich and deepen my approach, so I can more effectively support you in the process of understanding and changing emotional patterns.
Having personally navigated life abroad as a wife and a mother of two preschoolers, I have a deep understanding of the challenges in finding a work-life balance and a sense of grounding in a new environment. I integrate this valuable experience into our work to help you build stability and resilience.

Gestalt Psychotherapy
In Gestalt therapy your direct experience during a session is key. I will help you focus on what is happening in your body, mind, and emotions, connecting them into an integrated whole. This will allow you to learn how to recognize and understand yours unconscious patterns of thinking and behavior that may contribute to your anxiety, confusion, or other difficulties.
Gestalt therapy places a huge emphasis on the process of contact with your environment and with yourself. Toghether we will explore how you communicate with others and how you build your boundaries—to be permeable enough to accept what is good for you and strong enough to protect against what is harmful. In this way, you can learn how to meet your needs and enter into healthy relationships.

Our work is going to be based on dialogue and a phenomenological approach. I don't "know better" or interpret, but instead, I accompany you in discovering your own unique perspective. All of this happens within a safe space, built on mutual respect and trust, which are the foundation of our therapeutic relationship. The Gestalt approach assumes that you are always part of a wider field—your surroundings, family, and culture. Your problems don't exist in isolation from this context, which is why we consider the whole situation.

Offering professional Gestalt psychotherapy, I combine theory with empathetic practice to support you. I work with individuals who are struggling with feelings of not belonging, loneliness, anxiety, relationship difficulties, chronic stress, and lack of motivation, especially in the context of living abroad. My goal is to create a space where you can stop pretending everything is okay—and finally start reclaiming your true self.
